Hiking the Laugavegur trek in the Icelandic highlands, there is a section that is usually always in the fog. That place is called Hrafntinnusker and is a dark, gloomy place where we spent our first night of the trek. The morning after we started to walk in the fog, following the sticks very closely and trying to not get lost. Before we knew it, the fog lifted and we were greeted with a delight sunlight that softly painted the rhyolitic and andesitic mountains of the Fjallabak nature reserve.
